This American series broadcast over eight seasons (from 2006 - 2013) is inspired by “Darkly Dreaming Dexter”, a series of books by writer Jeff Lindsay. Dexter Morgan ( Michael C.Hall ) is a forensic analyst of blood patterns and works in the homicide division of the Miami police department. However, Dexter Morgan is also a serial killer who kills people not captured by the police. With the knowledge of the profession, he creates his own ritual to execute criminals, usually on tables covered with plastic, special clothes and gloves, etc. So,with his particular mood (funny most of time), he has a double life, with psychopathic tendencies, which he hides from his family,friends and girlfriend all the time. “Dexter” was the most watched series on the Showtime channel for two years.
